A new way to learn to dive with PADI’s eLearning

Thursday August 16, 2007

If time is an issue but you want to learn to dive whilst you are at Tokoriki, why not consider eLearning? This option allows you to complete the academic portion of the Open water course online, saving the pool work and open water dives for Tokoriki. The online academics can be completed in your own time, at your own speed. The pool work and open water dives, are completed at Tokoriki and can be done in as little as three or four days.

The PADI Open Water Diver Course qualifies you to dive down to a recommended maximum depth of 18m/60ft with a buddy of same or greater training. The PADI Open Water Diver certification course is recognized world wide.

With eLearning candidates sign up online at and enrol with a Dive Centre. As you’re coming to Tokoriki, you’ll need to enrol with us. Tokoriki’s PADI Dive Centre name is “Dive Tropex Tokoriki (S8373).”

After enrolling, PADI’s eLearning system presents you with interactive presentations that include video, audio, graphics and reading. Short quizzes let you gauge your progress and review and correct anything you might happen to miss.

We strongly recommend that if you sign up to eLearning you also get in touch with us direct. This is so we can be of assistance should you need us, as well as to provide us with your dates so we know when to expect you at Tokoriki.
