Tokoriki Diving is a PADI 5–Star Dive Centre, so you can be assured that you’ll get well proven, safe and comprehensive tuition, plus modern, well maintained equipment—no compromises, no short cuts.

Alex setting gear upWhat makes learning to dive at Tokoriki so great is just how easy it is. Our groups are always small (maximum of four people), so you’ll always get personal attention from our Dive Instructors. We’ll fit in around you so you don’t miss out on other things you may have planned. Best of all you’ll be learning to dive in clear, warm and safe seas—only a stone’s throw away from the beach. Our Tokoriki Island dive sites simply couldn’t be better for the beginner.

  • Discover Scuba Diving (DSD) is designed for beginner divers.
  • Time: 2–3 hours.
  • Experience Itinerary:
    • Poolside briefing
    • Pool lesson (F$50 charge if you opt out).
    • Scuba Dive
  • Maximum Depth taken to on dive: 12 metres; minimum depth 3 metres.
  • Group size is small: One Inst: Maximum four beginners.
  • Dive Site: We choose somewhere shallow and sheltered around Tokoriki Island.
  • Dive Time: Anything from 30–45 minutes.
  • How popular?: PADI DSD programs run typically every day.

Terms and Conditions

  • Tokoriki Island Resort reserves the right to alter pricing without notice.
  • Beginner Divers must be fit to dive according to the PADI Medical Form.
  • Beginner Divers should hold travel medical insurance which covers the participant for scuba diving and includes medical evacuation in it’s policy.
  • Divers must allow 12 hours after diving before flying.
