January 2010 – a record month for Dive Certifications!

Friday January 8, 2010

January proved to be a busy month for Will and Alex—Tokoriki’s resident Dive Instructors – with 20 people learning to dive whilst staying at the island…

Learning to Dive nowadays is something that needn’t be a chore. With PADI’s flexible course options people can opt to do the PADI Open Water Course in a variety of ways.

The PADI Open Water Referral (where all the pool work and academics are completed prior to arrival at Tokoriki) is popular—just allowing our Tokoriki Instructors to finish off with the dive training. However E-Learning (where all academics can be completed on line, at home at your convenience) is a great way for those with time limitations to learn to dive.

Finally PADI’s quick Scuba Diver Course, an entry level course that can be completed in 3 half days, fits into most people’s holiday itineraries…allowing plenty of time for rest and relaxation as well!
