One of the world's most beautiful islands

Monuriki Cast Away Tour

The incredible island of Monuriki sits in an archipelago of volcanic islands that once formed part of an ancient volcano.  It's beauty has made it a popular location set for film productions including the movie 'Cast Away' with Tom Hanks and the current USA Survivor reality TV show.

More importantly Monuriki Island is a land reserve with truly unique flora and fauna, which include the endemic and critically endangered Fiji crested iguana and over 2000 pairs of Wedge-tailed shearwaters.  It is also a nesting place for the critically endangered Hawksbill turtle.

After a short but very scenic boat ride from Tokoriki Island Resort, join your local guide to explore the island on foot before cooling off with a snorkel from the beach.
