Can I dive if I’ve had Covid-19?

Tokoriki Diving (until advised otherwise) is requesting any diver who has had Covid-19 (regardless of severety) to obtain medical clearance to dive from their Doctor, and bring proof of this with them to Tokoriki, if they intend to dive.

In order to dive safely, lung function needs to be in full working order. With Covid-19 specifically attacking the lungs, it would be prudent to make sure that you are fit for diving.

Click on the Blog title for easy access to a very interesting video link on this subject matter. This recording is from DAN (Diver’s Alert Network) who explore Covid 19 and diving in greater length. Whilst there is a little bit of audio interference to begin with, please persevere, to get a full understanding of the situation.
