South Seas Salt

With sustainability, women empowerment and supporting local farmers at it’s heart, South Seas Salt was born out of necessity.

Founders Alex and Will (of Tokoriki Diving) arrived in Fiji in 1998 and spent until the Covid Pandemic working full time at Tokoriki Diving, based at Tokoriki Island Resort.

A sudden loss of income and a 24 acre organic farm to manage, steered them towards expanding their hobby of making solar evaporated sea salt into a buisiness.

When borders reopened Will returned to Tokoriki, whilst Alex stayed on with South Seas Salt to build the brand, although you most likely will find her scuba diving with the team each weekend.

South Seas Salt is now being used as the premium sea salt of choice at many of Fiji’s high end resorts. It is also for sale in gift shops throughout Fiji and makes for the most beautiful memento of a holiday to Fiji.
