We recommend that all PADI Scuba Divers wishing to ugrade to the PADI Open Water Diver Course get in touch with us prior to arrival. Whilst the practical side of the training is very straight forward, you will also need to complete your theory. You may be able to avoid extra costs and time by doing all, if not most of your theory study back home. Students must provide relevant documentation from PADI detailing training to date.
Padi Scuba diver to Open Water Diver Course upgrade Sample Schedule
Day 1: Pool Review (Time: 1 hour). Watermanship skills - 200 m swim: (Time: 0.5 hours). Pool Lessons 4 & 5 (Time: 1 hour). Self Study (2 hours +)
Day 2: Theory Tutorial & Exam (Time: 2 hours). Dive 3 (Time: 2 hours). Dive 4 (Time: 2 hours). Certification (Time: 0.5 hours).

Add a Logbook: FJFD $35
Price valid until 31 March 2025.

Please note that this cost does not include your PADI Open Water training manual (online or paper format) or PADI log book. It is assumed you aleady have these.
Minimising Risk to Transmissable Diseases:
Hygiene and sanitation procedures in place as recommended by PADI, DAN and the CDC.
Terms + Conditions:
PADI Open Water Divers must be fit to dive according to the PADI Medical. Should you have to answer "yes" to anything on the form then you will need to get medical approval to dive.
We strongly recommend that you have travel medical insurance that includes scuba diving.
Please allow at least 18 hours after diving before flying.
We highly recommend that you book your PADI Instructor and arrange your course scheduling prior to arrival at Tokoriki Island Resort.
Costs do not include a 3% administration fee if paying by credit card.
